Definitions, characteristics, and application of the legislation Cookies are small text files that may be sent to, and registered on, your computer or mobile device by the websites you visit, in order to be re-sent to those same sites when you visit them again<br><br>Thanks to these cookies, a website can “remember” your actions and preferences (e.g., login data, language, font size, other display settings, etc.), so that you do not need to configure them again when you next visit the website, or when you move between the pages within a website. - analytics cookies when, through their use, the possibility to directly identify the data subject (i.e., “single out”) is prevented, therefore, blocking the use of analytics cookies that mat result in direct and unique identifiers. Furthermore, the structure of such cookies must encompass the possibility to not refer them to one, but to multiple devices, in order to create a reasonable uncertainty on the IT identity of the cookie recipient (usually this is done by masking out appropriate portions of IP address in the cookie as indicated in the Guidelines). Finally, to be identified as technical, analytics cookies must be limited to the sole production of aggregate statistics and must be used in relation to a single website/mobile application, in order to prevent the tracking of the person who use different applications or browse in different websites.

Data subject rights Under Articles 15 and following of the Regulation, you, as a data subject, are entitled to request from Scientifica S.p.A., at any time, access to your Personal Data, the rectification and erasure of your Personal Data, as well as to object to the processing. You are also entitled to request the restriction of the processing of your Personal Data in the cases set out in Article 18 of the Regulation, as well as to obtain the Personal Data you have provided to Scientifica S.p.A. in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, in the cases set out in Article 20 of the Regulation.
At any time, under Article 7 of the Regulation, you may withdraw the consent already provided, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to the withdrawal of such consent.

In any case, please note that, as a data subject, you are entitled to file a complaint with the competent supervisory authorities for the protection of Personal Data (article 77 of the Regulation), if you believe that the processing of your Personal Data carried out through this Website violates applicable law.
